Military Transition Analyst, Mid Job at Booz Allen Hamilton
The Challenge:
To work effectively, organizations need help looking at their operation from the outside. Whether standing up a new organization, transforming an existing one, or transitioning an organization, including a merger or split-up, our clients need a consultant who will take the time to learn the complexities of their mission and provide them with tangible advice on improvement, mission success, and standard methodologies. That’s why we need you, a management consultant who can analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and give them the roadmap to becoming the organization they envision.
As a general management consultant on our team, you’ll build an overall picture of your client’s structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before. You’ll use discussions and workshops with leadership and staff to identify and innovate the elements that work best in their environment and the areas for improvement. Once you have a solid understanding of where and how the organization can improve, you’ll work on a path forward – and the expected results - to your client. This is your chance to gain experience in military transition while learning new consulting skills. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in or supporting the U.S. Military
- Experience supporting military transition assistance programs
- Experience with data analysis and reporting to inform senior leader decision making processes
- Experience supporting large complex military programs to develop and deliver meaningful solutions to client challenges
- Experience generating detailed reports and providing briefings to military leaders on program status
- Knowledge of military occupations and civilian equivalents, as well as the common qualifications and duties required of both
- Ability to collaborate with private industry to support transitioning soldiers and initiatives for the TAP program, including career skills programs, credentialing, and private sector reciprocity
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 65,000 to 85,000.
