ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Dallas location is seeking a Middle Office Associate to join our Wealth team. In this position, the Associate is responsible for providing trading and service support for the Wealth Team and their clients.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Transaction Processing
- Assist lead trader with trade execution and settlements
- Coordinate capital calls and update pricing for private equity investments
- Assist lead trader to assign and update models to accounts based on client’s investment objectives.
- Responsible for Reg 9, USER Access, and OFAC compliance reviews
- Monitor accounts to ensure asset allocation complies with client IPS and/or target allocation
- Process closing accounts, outgoing transfers, closing account documents
- Compile documentation requested during regulatory examinations and client audit requests
- Gather data and compile various reports for board and compliance reporting
- Responsible for reconciliation and processing of retirement benefit payments
- Responsible for updating transactions in IRA compliance platform to ensure accurate tax reporting for clients
- Responsible for electronic filing of new account documentation and legal agreements and password resets
- Provide backup to other team members as needed
- Maintain updated process/procedure documentation for role
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Minimum Education / Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, and at least 1-year equivalent experience required, or
- If no degree, at least (4) years equivalent work experience will be considered
