Description:
Our goal at SeaQuest is to ensure guests have a one-of-a-kind experience interacting with animals from all over the world. Do you want to be where people are? Now is your chance! SeaQuest is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic mermaid to bring some magic to our interactive zoo and aquarium. Engaging with the guests and keeping in character is of the utmost importance. Responsibilities:
- Engage the guests
- Perform as a mermaid for our guests
- Memorize various scripts and deliver the SeaQuest experience
- Entertain our guests
- Visit the in-house birthday parties
- Assist and support the Guest Services Team with guest interactions
- May be required to work with animals
Mermaid Requirements:
- Ability to memorize and deliver lines
- An optimistic, positive, and cheerful outlook is necessary
- Great at improvisation
- Comfortable with guests taking your picture
- Comfortable with children hugging you
- Have the ability to up-sell products and services
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Great at staying in character
- Experience working with children
- Experience in theme park entertainment or theater is a plus
- Prior mermaid experience is a plus
Schedule:
- Part-time
- Mainly Weekends
- Holidays
