If you love memes and joy, this is the role for you. We’re seeking someone who’s passionate about making memes - the wholesome, happy kind. Deep digital fluency and past meme-making experience is required.
We don’t care what university you went to, or what your GPA was. We barely even require a resume. All we care about is that you are passionate about making people happy by making memes.
The application process will include a paid creative test.
The Role
Identify meme-able moments and topics
Produce and design memes (you will have graphic and video support for more complicated posts)
Collaborate with the broader social and content team
TikTok experience and passion is a plus
You
You like to make memes for fun
You’re always sending memes to your friends
You understand the line between funny and “fellow kid”
You are interested in social media and food
You work well independently, and also with a team
You are collaborative and are not shy about asking for help when needed
You take ownership of your work and always strive to improve
Requirements
Past experience making memes
Well versed in the nuances of internet culture
All candidates must have the ability to work from home
