Medication Aide Job Profile
- Medication administration and supervision
- Management of medication supply and medication cart
- Obtaining, recording, and reporting vital signs
- Processing medication re-orders
- Dressing, grooming, shower assistance
- Reporting of health status concerns
- Assistance during dining services with escorting, serving, and clean up
- Bed-making, laundry, and light housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned
Medication Aide Job Requirements
- Experience passing medication preferred, but not required
- Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced work environment
- Positive attitude and interest in working with the elderly
- Ability to stand for 80% of shift
- Ability to use a computer, pager, and smart phone
- Ability to use a pager and smart phone
- Ability to count and calculate simple math & use a calculator
- Certification is not required.
