Our Company:

The accounts receivables industry plays an essential role in the local and national economy. Revco provides accounts receivables services to hospitals and clinics. Our role is to assist patients with their medical bills by helping them to understand their payment obligations before their accounts become past-due, this includes ensuring their insurance providers obligations are met, which is the responsibility of our team of Medical Billing/Insurance Specialists.

A Day in the Life:

Responsibilities include: analyzing, researching and preparing insurance claims for submission to insurance carriers (commercial and government), responding to inquiries, billing denials and other communications. Meet production requirements by working accounts according to management's specifications. Attach necessary documentation when mailing claims to payors. (i e EOBs, medical records, itemized statements, etc.) Makes telephone inquiries, according to policy, on delinquent claims. Involves the patient as allowable under contract. Maintains excellent rapport with the customer in this process. Assume other duties as assigned.

• 1 year of previous experience working with commercial or other third-party insurance claims, medical billing and or follow-up.
• An understanding of various forms, codes (CPT & ICD), insurance terminology and insurance company remittance advice.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, and/or Medicare certification are a plus, but not required.
