Medical Assistant Job at Whitecap Search
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical Assistant a for an ongoing contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Storrs, CT.
- Perform clinical and administrative duties under the direction of the physician or other clinical staff
- Record patients’ medical history and vitals
- Prepare treatment rooms for exams and cleaning after exams
- Collection of blood, tissue, or other lab specimens as directed by the provider
- Prepare and administer some medications as directed
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or Associates in Medical Assistant/Occupational Studies
- 6 months paid working experience
- BLS preferred (American Heart Association)
