Mechanical Technician Job at United Elevator Company, LLC
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Read requirements and specifications to fully understand the systems required for the components being used
- Assess, plan and produce test fixtures
- Conduct testing
- Provide training for newer employees on product and process.
- Operates with limited supervision
- Works with others to create SOPs and create / implement safety protocols
- Adherence to all company safety procedures and standards
- Conducts 6S and safety audits
- Adherence to corporate compliance policy, including performing all duties in a professional and responsible manner
- Completion of work in a timely and efficient manner
- Extensive product and installation process knowledge
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of college, technical institute courses or equivalent work experience is desirable.
- 2+ years of related experience is preferred; comprehension of general mechanical engineering concepts is required.
- Must possess good customer service skills.
