Our 256,000sf state of the art facility is located in Wood Dale, IL. We are currently looking to add seasoned Mechanical Assemblers / Machine Builders who embrace teamwork, collaboration, employee development, accelerated growth while having some fun along the way! Specific responsibilities include:
- Read, interpret and understand blueprints and drawings including identifying parts to drawing, symbol recognition and material recognition.
- Utilizing drawings plan assembly and build sequence.
- Build assemblies, sub-assemblies, segments of machines and construct/assist in constructing standalone machines and/or large integrated systems.
- Utilize a variety of power and hand tools for assembly.
- Communicate potential problems to Lead / Manager.
- Ensure assembly and build tasks are completed within budget and on-time per schedule.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations.
- Understand and maintain both quality and quantity standards and expectations.
- Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance.

Mechanical Technician I
· Demonstrate knowledge for hardware – ability to determine size, length, flat wash, etc.
· Demonstrate ability to navigate through work instructions:
- Read instructions
- Identify part numbers
- Use of basic tools (wrench, screwdrivers)
- assemble per instructions
· Demonstrate ability to check work
· Entry Level
· No minimum experience
Mechanical Technician II (builds on Level I requirements)
· Demonstrate ability to read blueprints – Assembly Drawings

Mechanical Technician III (builds on Level II requirements)
· Assemble complex assemblies

Mechanical Technician IV (builds on Level III requirements)
· Interface with Mechanical Engineers
- Identify design flaws and errors
- Provide feedback to mechanical engineering
- DCR’s
· Analyze and troubleshoot system level issues in assembly build
· Correct / fix system level issues
· Handle internal Final Assurance punch list
· Minimum 5 years complex mechanical assembly experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
