This position is responsible for unloading and distributing raw material to the headers. Also receives and verifies all incoming purchased supplies, equipment, returned goods and co-signed goods or materials. Continuous Improvement of processes and products are an ongoing function of this position.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF THE RAW MATERIAL HANDLER
This position is responsible for unloading and distributing raw material to the headers. Also receives and verifies all incoming purchased supplies, equipment, returned goods and co-signed goods or materials. Continuous Improvement of processes and products are an ongoing function of this position.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accuracy of paperwork.
- Quality of receiving; packing slips, and delivering of parts to the proper locations.
- Checks received goods to purchase orders as to Identification, type, part number, dimension , size, weight, and general quality.
- Counts items to verify quantity, notifying purchasing of any discrepancies.
- Visually inspects goods received for damage in transit. If any damage, notes all packing slip and notifies purchasing for damage report to vendor.
- Delivers incoming items to requesting department.
- Keeps stock piles of raw material in an orderly manner and clearly identified.
- Assures that headers are supplied with raw material per print specification.
- Loads and unloads trucks when necessary.
- Required Hs Diploma/GED OR Relevant experience.
- Fluent in English (both strong verbal and written communication skills).
- Previous forklift experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
