Urban Autism Solutions is looking to hire a Marketing and Communications Manager to join our organization.

Job Overview

The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for creating awareness and increasing support for the organization by enhancing Urban Autism Solutions’ brand and executing marketing activities through various internal and external communication channels. The ideal candidate for this position is highly experienced with creating and maintaining consistent brand messaging, is skilled at storytelling marketing, and is experienced in developing and executing copy and visuals for digital, print, and collateral marketing.

This position is for you if you are a self-leader who enjoys coming up with new ideas, have strong written and verbal communication skills, have basic design skills, and like collaborating with others to create and execute effective marketing plans.

Job Details

• Creates, manages, and ensures consistent brand messaging across all internal and external communications pieces
• Articulates the mission and impact of the organization through storytelling marketing
• Captures photos, videos, and stories of the daily programs to be shared through marketing channels to help build awareness and show the organization in action
• Creates and executes digital marketing content, including social media posts, blogs, and email marketing
• Manages the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral, including newsletters, brochures, fliers, letter templates, and PowerPoint presentations
• Leads the development and execution of a marketing calendar that focuses on reaching the intended audience and producing the desired results
• Tracks and measures results and adjusts the editorial calendar accordingly
• Performs regular webpage maintenance, ensuring the availability of new and consistent information
• Routinely reviews and updates all digital and print marketing materials
• Partners with external graphic designers to develop visual content that is on brand
• Works collaboratively with internal team members to support organization-wide marketing and communication needs, including materials needed for fundraising campaigns and events
• Reviews and edits all communication and grant materials written by internal team members
• Manages all media contacts, makes new media connections, writes press releases and pitches story ideas, and helps generate awareness
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5+ years of marketing experience creating visual and written marketing materials
• Brand management experience
• Experience using social media tools, including TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other emerging trends
• Experience with Storytelling marketing
• Excellent personal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to edit and proof documents using AP Style
• Skilled with digital marketing technology, including Canva, website builders, and Constant Contact
• Basic photography skills
