• Demonstrates the ability to coordinate projects from the initial request phase to the completion and close-out phase, including planning and budgeting, coordinating subcontractors, awarding contracts, on-site verification, tracking of schedule and costs, constant communication, and ability to close out a project finalizing all of the necessary deliverables required for the project.
• Report time schedule variance to the Plant Maintenance Manager.
• Must have the ability to read engineered drawings and specifications as well as help in the development of drawings and specifications.
• Manage projects of limited scope within contractual cost and schedule guidelines; review output/documentation/deliverables for adequacy of quality and quantity.
• Must be self-directed to plan and manage multiple projects with little oversight.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors, escorting/meeting them on any and all job visitations.
• Document and communicate all change requests, and review change requests with Plant Maintenance Manager before implementing.
• Report to the Plant Maintenance Manager weekly the status of all Job(s)/Project(s) assigned.
• Assure work on the job is performed to expectations and requirements along with al Dal-Tile policies and procedures.

• 4+ years of project management experience on progressively more complex manufacturing projects and building appropriate processes and tools.
• Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred.
• Formal project management training (PMP) is a plus, but hands-on experience is highly preferred.

• Naturally organized, analytical, and detailed oriented.
• Self-Starter. Needs to be able to navigate and seek out information independently, as well as troubleshoot.
• Strong relationship-building/partnering skills and the ability to work with varying levels of individual contributors and management.
• Demonstrated knowledge and usage of standard project management concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you must take on multiple responsibilities and do what it takes to get things done.
