Manufacturing Technician

TSMC Arizona is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. Primary responsibilities include, running product in safe and qualitative manner, multi-tasking, following procedures while executing to output goals, utilizing multiple computer applications to run tools inside the factory, delivering a clear and concise pass down to peers, resolve sustaining issues, and improve workstation performance through lean initiatives.

NOTE: TSMC provides 100% training for this, no previous experience is required.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Work onsite in a office-based remote operations environment on 12-hour shifts in a 3-day or 4-day work week.
  • Similar to a command center, or a cubicle office setting, with several monitors to view the applications
  • Utilize up to 25 software manufacturing applications to move product in our clean room manufacturing processes
  • Utilize technical aptitude, process analysis, issue escalation, monitor processing times, and work in collaborative team environment
  • We are an automated process that utilizes our training, SOP procedures, and structured workflows
  • Learn the chip manufacturing process and stay informed of procedural changes.
  • Assist in executing department daily functions, including data collection & analysis.
  • In charge of tool stability monitoring and partnering with supporting modules to bring unstable processes back to baseline.
  • Training for these positions take 6-9 months to learn which include Paid Training, SOP, Shadowing, Video Training, and Trainer led lessons

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:
  • High school Diploma or GED required
  • AAS Degree, or Technical Certificate preferred, but not required
  • 1 to 10 years of experience of working in a team environment with a common goal
  • Some work experience and/or experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Fundamental Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, often sitting for long periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 - $24.00 per hour
