As a Manager of Clinical Applications Community Connect, you need to know how to:
The Manager, Clinical Applications is responsible for the development, support and enhancement of SCL Health's Clinical Information System (Epic). This role manages a team of Epic Application Analysts, Sr Epic Application Analysts and Lead Application Analysts. This positions is responsible for the evaluation, designing, testing, training, and implementation of clinical applications. The Manager, Clinical Applications will pursue the optimization of the Clinical Information Systems in production, such that SCL Health remains current with all versions of software and continues to identify and meet the needs of the user communities.
- Provides leadership to a team of Analysts, Sr. Analysts and Lead Analysts
- Performs workflow analyses and recommends process changes to enhance departmental productivity
- Responsible for planning, estimating, scheduling, tracking, controlling, hiring, performance evaluations, goal setting and measuring team performance
- Manage relationships with project stakeholder including governance, leadership, end-users, vendors, and consultants.
- Facilitates collaboration of cross-functional teams in a project environment with an emphasis on quality, productivity, and consistency
- Assist in the development of tactics and approaches to support the mission and strategies of SCL Health and STSC
- This role will be responsible for supporting one or various Epic modules including but not limited to: Orders, Clinical Documentation, Stork, ASAP, Optime and Radiant

- Five (5) years of experience in healthcare, technology or related field, including a minimum of 6 months in a leadership role is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
