JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs intermediate semiskilled work performing landscape duties, lighting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and irrigation systems maintenance and repairs, maintaining and repairing grounds, maintaining records and files, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Field Supervisor.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Incumbent works outdoors and is exposed to extreme temperatures. This position will require non-standard, or rotating shift work to include days, nights, weekends, holidays and call back.

The ideal candidate would be familiar with irrigation repairs and the associated equipment used to perform associated tasks, remote radio-controlled irrigation systems and their operation, plant species identification, as well as best management practices for water conservation, turf maintenance and plant health care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED and moderate experience in grounds maintenance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
May require possession of, or ability to obtain, specific licenses and/or certifications depending on departmental assignment.
Valid driver's license in the State of Arizona.
