Process:

What you will do:

• Assist in maintaining the buildings and grounds in a clean and orderly appearance.
• Assist in maintaining safe working conditions in the buildings and on the grounds.
• Maintain the equipment/tools in satisfactory working condition.
• Completion of assigned duties of general maintenance and repair in the areas of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing and refrigeration systems.
• Perform any of the duties of a building custodian.
• Shall be available for emergency maintenance and repair calls.
• Completion of assignments of a construction/building nature.
• Assist in the planning work programs for any assigned help
• Maintain building security as directed including weekend/holiday building checks as assigned
• Maintain project records and receive materials relating to them.
• Assist in unloading and distribution of materials.
• Work with all personnel cooperatively.
• Maintain confidentiality
• Assist the public using the building – public relations are important
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Other duties as assigned

Works under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Facilities and Operations.

Need to Have:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be capable of driving a standard shift truck and obtain a forklift and personal lift license.
• Capability to become certified in asbestos removal, pesticide spraying and CPO Certified.
