Mechanics perform a number of maintenance functions, but their primary role is to ensure that Production equipment is serviced and maintained (lubrication, part replacement, etc.) in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendation and established facility guidelines. Assists in dismantling, designing layouts, moving, changing, erecting and/or repairing repack machinery and equipment.
First and foremost you need to be dependable. Doesn’t matter how good a mechanic you are if you’re not at work doing the job. Working safely must be a priority. A successful candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, problem solving/logic capabilities, and troubleshooting skills. A basic knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints and schematics is required. A high school diploma or equivalent, with one to three years of working experience in an industrial, maintenance environment is expected.
Your hours would be 3pm to 11pm.
