Maintenance Mechanic Job at Abacus Solutions Group, LLC
*** 2nd Shift ( 2:30pm - 11pm )
*** 3rd Shift (10:30pm-7am)
***Weekend Shift (6pm - 6am)
We are looking for Multi-Craft maintenance technicians that will support material handling and building maintenance for one of the distribution centers located in Columbus, Ohio. We have sophisticated material handling conveyors and state-of-the art sortation systems that are constantly evaluated and upgraded to ensure associate safety and efficient business operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Execute maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment breakdowns involving mechanical and electrical aspects of machinery
- Analyze failures or equipment technical loss causes
- Make or suggest improvements as needed.
- Perform routine plumbing, electrical repairs, replace chains, belted conveyor, gear boxes, drives, drywall, painting, and flooring repairs.
Skills we’re looking for:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a maintenance role that involves working on equipment and motors.
- Prefer an in-depth technical knowledge of automated distribution center equipment, such as conveyors sortation systems. Robotics, mobile equipment etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
