Summary of Responsibilities
To support manufacturing operations by maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing all facilities and manufacturing equipment in a safe and orderly fashion as directed by the maintenance supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Attain safety, quality and productivity goals
· Troubleshoot plant facilities and production equipment problems
· Maintain and update equipment records, schematics, blueprints and files in orderly fashion
· Obtain training for professional development and to stay current on maintenance and safety requirements
· Complete all work in accordance with OSHA, NEC, JIC and DNR standards and regulations
· Complete correspondence, forms and reports using personal computer and required software
· Maintain department repair parts stock and inventory
· Attend training as required
· Handle confidential information on a regular basis
· Encourage safety and housekeeping practices and lead by example
· Promote and facilitate Open Door process and Fair Treatment
· Participate in Continual Improvement activities
· Adhere to customer requirements, Business Operating System and company policies
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Able to demonstrate understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction
· Able to work well with others; build and maintain positive employee relations
· Able to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
· Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, suppliers and customers
· Able to maintain confidentiality, and use discretion and tact
· Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
· Able to work flexible hours and overtime to be available to three (3) shifts
· Able to use computer and software as required
· Able to work to blueprints and sketches
· Must have good color vision to perform electronic and electrical maintenance and repairs
· Able to lift 75 pounds
· Able to work at heights of 40 to 60 feet and in confined spaces
· Demonstrated ability to read electrical and hydraulic prints
· Demonstrated ability to read PLC logic ladder diagrams
· Demonstrated ability to manipulate and program Fanuc robots.
· Advanced knowledge of HMI and PLC communications
· Ability to interface with PLC's
· Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot 480VAC circuitry
· Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot 24vdc / 120vac circuitry
· Experience with conduit bending and installation
· Interface with engineering on new installations and or upgrades
· Must be able to understand written instructions
· Technical training is mandatory, including completion of all LVL E3 requirements, in the following areas:
o Advanced PLC training (Siemens)
o Advanced CNC training
o Advanced Fanuc robot training (Fanuc)
o Advanced CNC training
o Advanced Die Cast training
· MUST pass level 4 entry test administered by maintenance department
Education and Experience Required
· High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
· Journeyman’s card in electrical discipline or minimum (7) years industrial maintenance experience.
Work Environment
· Includes office and manufacturing plant
· Must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees of all departments, management, customers and suppliers
· Provide support for three shifts and weekend production schedule
· Flexible hours and able to work additional hours as required
