Maintenance Assistant - Snow Removal, Temp Position Job at Elim Christian Services
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their job and wants to make Elim a better place to work. As a Maintenance Assistant at Elim, you'll be:
- Responsible for reporting to Elim in a timely manner as requested by supervisor(s)
- Responsible for removing snow and ice as instructed on the Elim campus to include shoveling as well as utilizing equipment to clear sidewalks, parking lots, etc.
- Responsible for spreading salt both manually and utilizing equipment
- Able to operate snow removal equipment demonstrating proper safety techniques
- Dependable and able to work independently
Physical Requirements:
The employee must be able to walk, bend, twist, lift, squat/stoop/kneel; lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist; lift and carry up to 75 pounds for 10 to 20 feet; and work in extreme cold, snow, and ice conditions for extended periods of time.
Hours:
Must be available between 5:30 am -8:30 am and must be flexible depending on snow fall.
Wages:
$18.00/hr
