Machinist - CNC Lathe and Mill Job at Tate Andale
** GROWTH OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCED MACHINE OPERATORS **
Family-owned, Baltimore-based company is looking for CNC and manual machinists who can work independently and produce quality parts in a timely manner. Top pay available and room for growth!! We are willing to train machine operators based on experience and job history.
Full time position working Monday thru Friday 6am – 2:30pm with ample overtime available.
The successful candidate will have the following experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in operating CNC or Manual Lathes and Mills.
- Prior experience in programming and set-up of CNC and Manual Lathes and Mills is a plus. We are willing to train experienced machine operators.
- Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
- Capable of reading and understanding blueprints.
- Prior experience with castings a plus.
- Ability to perform a variety of drilling, boring, milling, turning, threading and other related operations on manual machines and CNC.
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
- Strong mechanical and mathematical skills.
- Must be self-motivated and have good work habits.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
