Meat processing company looking to hire mechanics to join their team!!!
2nd shift - 3pm start time
Position is responsible for repairing and installing advanced production/manufacturing equipment. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes repairs that are more complicated or adjustments as need
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs breakdown analysis.
- Upgrades production lines with new/upgraded equipment/technology.
- Directs activities of outside contractors working on assigned line.
- Changes line for package changeovers
- Works independently under limited supervision (self-management).
- Documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed on a timely basis.
- Anticipates needed equipment, parts, and supplies; places and expedites orders; verifies receipts.
- Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains technical knowledge by: attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
