Machine Maintenance Technician

nVenia is currently adding a Machine Maintenance Technician, responsible for the successful execution of preventative equipment maintenance and corrective repair of our brand-new facility. The Machine Maintenance Technician will join a highly respected team that is instrumental in keeping nVenia running smoothly.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems and equipment.

· Identify equipment and assess if it needs to be repaired or replaced.

· Utilize gages and other test instruments to diagnose malfunctions and troubleshoot issues.

· Responsible for ensuring equipment is safe and operational after repairs are complete.

· Responsible for maintaining and completing maintenance and repair records.

· Comfortable moving and/or replacing machinery using a forklifts, cranes, and dollies.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· Experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.

· Ability to be forklift certified through our onsite training class.

· High school Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequently required to stand on concrete floors, walk, talk, hear, use of hands to finger, handle or tough objects or controls. Ability to climb, work in high spaces, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The incumbents must occasionally lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required in this role include close and distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
