MA'S FOR OUR QUARTZSITE AND PARKER CLINICS Job at La Paz Regional Hospital
URGENT IMMEDIATE OPENING: Full time position in our hospital-owned clinic in QUARTZSITE AND PARKER CLINICS, AZ, for persons who have a Certified Medical Assistant certificate. Not an entry level position. May be trained to do front office as needed. If you sign a two year agreement to work full time, we will pay for an online Medical Assistant Program to get certified. Starting wage for a certified MA is $16/ph.
Must be able to perform routine Lab Test in office, including phlebotomy. Wages based on experience with a Certificate for Medical Assistant.
Job Summary: Provides patient care in the office setting. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner and/or physician. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
Must have great customer service and computer skills, Bilingual a plus.
MEDICAL ASSISTANT: Regulatory Requirements:
Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program with Certification
Completion of venipuncture class.
Current BCLS certification.
Language Skills:
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
Skills:
Basic computer knowledge.
Physical Demands:
