Primary Care Partners an affiliate of Atlantic Health System, seeks a Full-time or Part-time LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse for our Family Medicine Care Center in Branchburg, NJ. Responsible for providing professional nursing care for Care Center patients under the supervision of Physicians and Practice Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing care to patients.
• Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Prepares list of medical supplies needed.
• Ensures cleanliness.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination and testing of patients.
• Observes, records and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
• Educates patient/family about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness.
• Ensures appointment preferences are given to patients in emergency situations. Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination. Screens patients for appropriation information. Instruct patients in collection of samples and tests.
• Maintains/reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information. Posts tests and examination results.
• Responds to/refers incoming patient treatment-related phone calls. Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines, and confidentiality policies.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an approved LPN program
• Must have valid state issued LPN License

Compensation is based on experience.
