Lower School Teaching Assistant Job at St. Mark's Episcopal School
St. Mark’s Episcopal School in Houston, Texas is seeking a creative, organized, team player to serve as a Lower School Teaching Assistant.
The primary job of an elementary teaching assistant at St. Mark’s is to work with the lead teacher to support student learning through small group or individualized instruction. Other responsibilities may include: helping to maintain the classroom environment, preparing student materials, and supervising the students in the classroom, on the playground, and at lunch. As a member of the Lower School faculty, the assistant is expected to support the mission and philosophy of the school. Experience guiding children between the ages of six and ten in a school setting along with an education degree is preferred. Position hours are from 7:30 AM to - 3:45 PM.
