The Stand is looking for experienced and passionate Line Cooks!

The Stand "American Classics Redefined" restaurant opened its first Texas location this summer at Hughes Landing in the Woodlands. The popular California restaurant that has redefined fast-casual dining will be located on the ground level of Two Lakes Edge, an award-winning luxury, multi-family development. The Stand served high quality classic American food at an affordable price in an upscale and contemporary environment. Our menu consists of made-to-order burgers, sandwiches, salads, wraps, hot dogs, veggies, side milkshakes, unique sodas, craft beer, and wine on tap.

We are growing fast, with plans to open 3-4 new locations in the Houston market in the next couple of years. We're excited about our growth, and even more excited at the possibility of you joining our team!

We’re Looking for Team Members that have the following:

• An overwhelming desire to go above and beyond to provide a great experience to every guest by cooking and prepping amazing food.
• You’ll spend your day interacting with our awesome guests and team members! At The Stand, we will cross-train you at every station, so you can grow in your culinary career.

Things you can expect to learn and do while working as a line cook:

• Prepare our amazing and simple recipes
• Follow our build guides for building every item on our menu.
• Follow health & safety guidelines
• Cleaning & organizing
• Foster a friendly family environment
• Be a team player & show efficient communication skills
• Maintain kitchen clean & attend to any special cleaning duties manager might request
• Cross-train and work in multiple kitchen stations, prep, Fryer, Salads, Grill, Building, Expo.
• Knife skills are plus but not required.

Schedule:

• Part-time shifts/Full time Shift

The schedule is based on performance & availability
