What will you do in this role?
The Lifestyle Concierge (LC) is a Full Time/Part Time position, working as part of the OakwoodLife team, delivering professional customer service and relationship building skills to create a welcoming environment at our Active Adult clubhouses/communities. As an integral part of the OakwoodLife team, the LC will also exhibit the core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and innovation in all aspects of their OakwoodLife work. Under the direct supervision of the Lifestyle Director, the LC will be a first point of contact for prospective new members, current members, and guests. The LC will respond to member and guests with a high level of energy providing professional, respectful service while performing a variety of membership duties that include:
  • Develops positive relationships with members and participants, provides motivational support and guidance focusing on the needs of the member.
  • Conducts clubhouse/amenity tours, new member orientation and process review, member profile, and assist sales team with guests and potential members as needed.
  • Assists Lifestyle Director with member phone calls, emails, and surveys.
  • Assists members and participants with program/activity registration, answers inquiries, including member concerns and provides information on community programming.
  • Circulates throughout the building to ensure safety of users and security of building.
  • May act as manager on duty if assigned. May also manage/support Lifestyle Member Advisors.
  • Collaborates across OakwoodLife teams to ensure all aspects of the facility/programs are meeting members’ needs.
  • Training Requirements for systems/upkeep of information through intranet. Remains current with certifications and training requirements.
  • Carry out daily tasks and shift assignments including but not limited to:
    • Experience Desk: Handles customer requests, processing transactions, change requests, answering phones and providing information to members and community. Providing an excellent member experience while performing these duties.
    • Floor Attendant: Provides a great member experience by assisting members with needs and requests, customer service & member connection, equipment knowledge and assistance, cleaning/sanitizing equipment after member use.
    • Facility Assistance: Assist fitness class instructors set up class and direct members to class as needed.
    • Greeter/Welcomer: Greet and guide members, guests, and community visitors at point of contact, check in members, give updated information on policies, practices, and processes, and highlights daily activities.
    • Customer Service/Member Support: Provide excellent member experience and support by creating an environment where members and guests are provided care in a safe, fun, and engaging environment through promoting program and membership enrollment, encourage participation, and events/activities registration.
    • Cleaning & Sanitation: Ensure routine cleanliness and sanitization of facility to ensure safety of members, instilling confidence in those we are serving, in accordance with OakwoodLife policies.
    • Lifestyle Programming: Facilitates lifestyle programming including but not limited to set-up, event execution, and event/activity breakdown.
You Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years of relevant work experience, preferably in similar hospitality-focused environments.
  • Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations.
  • Basic fiscal management skills that ensure business growth and sustainability.
  • Must be adaptable, have high ownership and strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to shared accountability, teamwork, and creative leadership.
  • Must possess and demonstrate an ability to interact positively with people.
  • Must be able to perform several duties simultaneously and take the initiative to solve member problems.
  • Understanding of the nature and purpose of OakwoodLife and the respective roles of volunteers and staff.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in accordance with location volume and events.
  • CPR, First Aid and TIPS certifications required within 30 days of hire

Compensation

Base Salary: $70,000 - $90,000
