Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, dynamic, professional LifeLaunch Ignite Program Manager to join our team! The LifeLaunch Ignite Program Manager will be responsible for complete oversight of the program, including the development, implementation and reporting for the grant. The program manager will manage all Ignite Grant program staff. Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Essential Duties and Tasks:

  • Represent the face of Goodwill’s Ignite Grant to non-profit, foundation, governmental and private businesses.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of the grant budget.
  • Develop Memorandums of Understanding for grant partners, in addition to writing standard operating procedures.
  • Establish, maintain, and expand relationships with key partners including Goodwill Retail, employer partners, Kentucky Department of Corrections, Jefferson Community Technical College, Probation and Parole, Metro Corrections and others.
  • Responsible for the hiring, training and development of grant staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation counseling, social work, or criminal justice preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of work experience in reentry services; counseling environments; social work; criminal justice may be substituted in lieu of a college degree.
  • Must have three (3) years of supervisory experience.
  • Must demonstrate proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, and Salesforce.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to understand contracts, negotiations and regulations.
  • Must have outstanding communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of diverse people.

Physical Demands:

  • This job may have physical requirements that considered sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity and occasional lifting to 15 pounds.
  • Travel across the state and to other locations beyond the assigned work location is frequently required.
