Who We Are:

Since 1980 Braseth Construction has been a premier General Contractor in the greater Seattle area with a focus on commercial construction including multifamily, hospitality, historic renovation, and tenant improvements.

We are seeking a superintendent with a strong background in multi-family construction. As Superintendent you will lead all onsite work activity through completion of the project, including overseeing site safety, logistics, work quality of subtrades and driving the construction schedule.

Responsibilities:

- Directing and supervising onsite construction work.

- Overseeing site safety by maintaining and enforcing safety requirements.

- Coordinating Braseth field workers and subcontractors to ensure work is in scope and on schedule.

- Coordinating and ensuring material deliveries are on time and arrive in good condition.

- Running subcontractor coordination meetings

- Participating in preconstruction and other coordination meetings.

- Driving the construction schedule; maintaining and updating construction schedule, communicating schedule to subcontractors.

- Collaborating with project team, project manager, project engineer, foreman and other field workers.

- Oversee quality control program to finalize the building.

Qualifications:

- 10+ year of construction experience with 5+ in a lead supervisory role, preferred experience on multifamily projects $25 million to $65 million.

- Proficient in creating, manipulating and managing construction schedules with efficient sequencing and logistical planning. MS Project preferred

- Creative on-the-fly problem solving

- Proactive planning, thinking days, weeks and months ahead. Ability to identify and plan for critical paths.

- Strong communication with others including co-workers, office staff, clients, and subcontractors. Ability to form relationships with staff and subcontractors.

- Leadership quality’s ability to mentor and build a team environment.

- Proficient understanding of sub trades and able to help manage their work.

- Good references.
