Landscaping Laborer - HIRING IMMEDIATELY - WEEKLY PAY Job at Labor Finders
Labor Finders is currently looking to hire a landscape laborer, preferably with previous experience.
Our area client is a landscaping company.
Job Location: La Cañada Flintridge Hours: Full Time Salary: $18.00/Hour
Job Summary:
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and the stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to and pus and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
- Must be able to work in a variety of inclement weather conditions, including heat and humidity, and tolerate exposure to dust and noise.
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Cleans and prepares specific areas of job-site as assigned. This may include but not limited to digging trenches, clearing weeds, cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash.
- General duties performed include landscaping, irrigation, maintenance, hydro-seeding, vegetation removal and installations.
- Use of hand tools and small equipment when required. Use of line trimmer, hedger, weed whacker, backpack sprayer, chainsaw, and other equipment when required.
- Responsible for safe, efficient, and quality completion of task assigned by supervisor. Always wears personal protective equipment and always follows all safety procedures. Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 18 years of age to apply.
- Previous landscape experience preferred.
- Experience in commercial landscaping or construction preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to listen, understand, and follow direction.
- Ability to work in a variety of roles.
- E-Verify will be used for employment authorization purposes.
