Description:
- Performs lab activities in support of the bioreactor team, which includes monitoring key experiments, ensures the execution of high-quality practical work and assists with method development
- Participates in the assembly and maintenance of all bench-top bioreactor vessels (from 1 to 10 liters) and ensures they are functioning correctly on a daily basis
- Performs flask culture work and is able to work efficiently in a sterile environment
- Identifies problems, analyzes possible causes and suggests improvements in methods, techniques, and equipment
- Participates in the development and validation of new practical scientific methods/procedures, where appropriate
