Lab Registrar Job at Wood County Hospital
Wood County Hospital is now accepting applications for a Lab Registrar. The Lab Registrar provides personal care and professional excellence by arranging for the efficient and orderly admission of outpatients. This may or may not include NPL’s, BGSU clients, and Occupational Health Clients. Insures that accurate patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures.
Job Duties:
- Accurately gathers personal information required including advanced directives, emergency notification numbers and insurance information. This may or may not include gathering patient information in the Emergency Department.
- Provides high quality patient care in a manner which reflects the uniqueness of each patient, regardless of age or circumstance.
- Accurately inputs patient information via CRT and verifies existing information in system.
- Inputs tests and diagnoses in Medicare compliancy program to verify eligibility. Explains procedure for failed tests and has ABN signed and routed to appropriate areas.
- Runs error reports on B+ to find claims that will not bill without intervention.

- Full Time, 40 hours/week
Shift:
- Afternoon Shift, 11:00am - 7:30pm
- Weekend and on call shift rotation required
