Under direct supervision, independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. With additional experience within one functional area, assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and minimum of 2 years related experience, with typical experience ranging from 3-7 years.
10 years’ Experience in Civil Structures Carpentry/Vertical Construction.
Must pass AFIT WMGT 417 Activity Management within 6 months of start. Must Pass AFIT WMGT 231 SMS BUILDER Level 2 within 6 months of start. Must Pass WENG 440 Roofing Design and Management Course within 6 months of start
Must pass AFIT WENG 200 Scoping and Estimating within 6 months of start.
