Summary:

Our ICD Mortgage Team is looking to add a motivated, sales-driven Junior Loan Officer to join the team and work alongside a high-producing Branch Manager. The Junior Loan Officer’s primary role is to work with the Branch Manager to grow the business through new lead generation, working directly with borrowers to provide top-notch service, fostering industry relationships, etc.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads through inbound and outbound calls, get referrals, and monitor sales pipeline
  • Serve as the go-to person for the borrowers throughout the application process
  • Respond to borrower inquiries in a timely manner
  • Pull borrower credit and analyze their financial situation and eligibility
  • Maintain the Branch Manager/Loan Officer’s customer base
  • Follow-up with borrowers/realtors once the transaction is complete to conduct reviews
  • This role is an in-office, based out of our branch in Waukesha, WI
  • Some evening availability is required

Qualifications:
  • One (1) year prior mortgage or mortgage banking experience preferred
  • Ability to deliver effective results and meet deadlines and quotas
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Excellent phone and service skills
  • Competitive and driven
  • Strong sales techniques
