Job Coach for students with disabilities age 18-21 Job at Elim Christian Services
Elim Job Coach:
Be the good in this world by helping others while you help yourself. As a Job Coach at Elim, you’ll assist students ages 18 - 21 achieve more, learn more, and grow. You’ll help them reach vocational goals and you’ll implement individual educational plans under the guidance of the BCBA. You’ll work with students to create a positive, safe, and productive learning environment. You’ll implement behavior management techniques as instructed by the behavior therapist.
We’re looking for people who care about people. As a Job Coach, you’ll be required to:
- Give direct instruction to students in the employment setting
- Conduct worker interviews, observe the students at work and complete an evaluation to determine the success of the job
- Assist the Supervisor for Vocational Curriculum and Programming in the procurement of jobs in the community for students
- Provide assistance to the Supervisor for Vocational Curriculum and Programming in planning and conducting a Work Experience Class as appropriate to the needs of the students.
- Possess or willing to obtain CDL Driver’s license and hold a valid driver’s license

Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30 - 2:45 : Tuesday 8:30 - 3:15
Includes 6 week ESY session
- Competitive starting pay of $18.80/hr for hours worked. Pay can be spread out over entire year
