You are an experience eCommerce IT professional with a desire to manage information technology operations. You work well as a part of a team to optimize the customer experience in a high volume/transaction intensive eCommerce environment. You are highly committed, team player looking for a new challenge in a primarily remote roll.
ABOUT THE JOB
Here is what you can look forward to in your new role:

• Monitor and manage systems and network performance to maximize throughput and uptime as well as promptly respond to and resolve slowdowns and outages
• Troubleshoot and resolve any/all production issues.
• As required, set up and configure servers for the management of applications and IT systems
• Ensure all applications have access to adequate disk storage, backup and archiving
• In concert with the Director of Application Development, oversee the installation and management of applications and enhancements on Company technology
• Monitor and manage integrations with supporting vendor platforms - these include EDI integrations with vendors, both product suppliers and support services providers, as well as marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, ebay, etc.) and digital advertising (Google, Bing, Facebook, Email, etc.) - key tactical objectives include immediate/timely and correct:

• Capture of all customer orders from web site, Marketplaces and customers' procurement systems

• Transmission of product purchase orders to product suppliers
• Receipt of shipping confirmations from product suppliers and posting to customer accounts
• Receipt and posting of product supplier invoices to ERP
• Product and pricing feeds to digital advertising and Marketplace partners are transmitted on-time and correctly
• Monitor and manage API integrations to NetSuite ERP
• Perform periodic backup of information and data to ensure prompt and complete recovery in event of system breakdowns/outages
• Protect business networks against attacks from outside sources
• Conduct internal audits to verify the security and efficiency of the Company's networks and systems
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
• Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization's internal capacity
• Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives and improvements
• Ensure operational activities are executed on-time, correctly and within defined budgets
• Ensure productive and cost-effective use of technology software and services
• Assist in building and maintaining relationships with key vendors
• Some travel required - approximately 30% to Norristown/King of Prussia area
• Acts as an effective team member.

QUALIFICATIONS:
General Experience:

• 5+ years' proven, successful hands-on experience in IT operations management positions
• Strong budget development and oversight skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communications abilities, including with IT peers, users, department managers and senior leadership
• Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related
• Background knowledge in finance and accounting not required but helpful
• Experience in early stage/high growth/entrepreneurial environment
• Personal traits of a high-level commitment, motivation, energy, team orientation, professionalism, trust, personal honesty and integrity, and a demonstration of placing others in a place of high value.
• Desire to participate in professional development and career advancement opportunities

Required experience:

• Experience managing integrations with third parties via FTP and API
• Experience supporting production Windows Server environment
• Experience managing database and file backup solutions via Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, etc.

Desired Experience:

• NET for ASP.NET and/or ASPDotNetStorefront (MVC and WebForms) and Windows Services and SQL Server

• Managing integrations with the following technologies:
• PostgreSQL database with document database layers such as Marten DB
• NetSuite API (or similar)
• Channel Advisor API (or similar)
• Order Management EDI formats (X12formats such as 850,855,856,810,846)
• Continuous build/deployment with tools like TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, and SQL Server deployment packages
