TechForce Influencer and Content Coordinator (Part-Time, Contingent Worker)
Position Summary. Perform a variety of marketing, communications and administrative duties for this nonprofit organization on a part-time, month-to-month basis not to exceed 29 hours per week.

Principle Accountabilities & Deliverables
- Assist in creating and producing marketing content for TechForce by:
- Filming, editing and producing interviews, shoutouts and footage of students, technicians, industry, events and/or other creative elements that allow one to convert such b-roll into publishable social media content, including Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other assets;
- Serving as an emcee, interviewer, spokesperson reporter and/or moderator in various situations, posing questions, interviewing subjects, hosting a discussion, or introducing, covering and/or featuring an event;
- Posting, liking, commenting and/or participating in social media dialogue that supports TechForce and the technician pathway;
- Lending your image, likeness and voice to TechForce to be featured in promotions, public service ads, advertising, social media and other externally-facing content;
- Helping organize, coordinate and host special events and student experiences. Serve as boots-on-the-ground representative, encouraging people to use the TechForce Network, to apply for scholarships and grants, find schools, apprenticeships, jobs and more;
- Providing creativity to spot opportunities that lend themselves to interesting, dynamic and artful content for the organization.

Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesEducation / Experience
- Demonstrated personal interest and experience with cars, racing, engines, motorsports and/or restoration required. Must be able to ‘talk the career and/or hobby’ and convey passion and enthusiasm for it;
- Experience using video recording devices and camera in a way that captures content, experience uploading such content, and use of basic editing tools to create publishable content, such as a Tik Tok or Instagram post, on social media.
- Personality and people-skills that engages people naturally in conversation and excites them to talk about themselves and/or their passion;
- An inquisitiveness and curious nature that leads one to ask questions, to be authentically interested and proactive in serving as an excellent “explorer”, interviewer and/or moderator for the organization in interviews and media opportunities;
Skills
- Excellent public speaking skills on on-camera personality;
- Basic marketing acumen and creativity in order to develop, create, direct and/or produce marketing assets;
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of personal computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (including Lightroom, InDesign and Photoshop), and Google Suite (including Gmail, Drive, Docs)
- Familiarity and experience with social media channels, including Facebook Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube required
- Sensitivity and judgement that allows one to evaluate appropriate vs. inappropriate content, messaging and/or situations;
- Knowledge of basic video and photo editing software desired;
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to deal with a variety of personalities in a professional manner
- Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to speak in pubic, motivate audiences and convey enthusiasm and passion.
Abilities
- Must be able to walk a fair amount of distance for at least 50% of the scheduled hours of an
assigned event;
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds 5% or less of the workday
- Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 35% or less of the workday
- Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, and reason for most or all of the workday
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
- Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time.
Work Environment
- Work remote from a home office and/or attend filming or event locations, per assignment.
