What does a maintenance mechanic do?
- Keep all production machines running
- Perform repairs on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components
- Repair experience on CNC lathes (Okuma and Mazak) preferred
- Hydraulics and PLC (Programmable logic control) experience/troubleshooting
- Perform preventive maintenance on all machinery
- Changing of coolant & oil
DUTIES BREAKDOWN: PLC repair 15%, Mechanical repair 50%, Electrical repair 20% and Hydraulic repair 15%
HOURS/DAYS:7 am to 3:30 pm Monday thru Thursday and 6 am to 2:30 pm on Friday
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Electrical and Hydraulic blueprint literacy
- Must have mechanical understanding of pumps, valve, cylinders and power transmission
- Ability to identify when outside sources are required and when to seek help from the Maintenance Manager
- Ability to multitask and prioritize based on production needs and plant activities
- 4 to 5 yrs. experience
- Working experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) a plus
- Must be reliable
- Good communication skills
- Good Quality of work and safety awareness

- Must be able to physically lift up to 50lbs repetitively - Able to lift, bend, push/pull, carrying over 10 lbs. or more. Standing (over 75% of day)
- Must be able to constantly stand, bend and twist for the longevity of the shift
- Must be able to effectively communicate with coworkers and management
- Visually inspect product and equipment
- Respond to audio prompts
Basic Qualifications
- Electrical and Hydraulic blueprint literacy
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
