Deceuninck is seeking a Human Resource Administrator for our Fernley Nevada locations. The primary duty of this position is to recruit, compile and maintain personnel records, office duties and assists managers within the department with various tasks and projects.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Recruiting, interviewing and new hire process for open positions and internal career opportunities Fernley Operations. Assist with Monroe recruiting when needed.
  • Maintain applicant tracking and prepared information required for Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) reporting.
  • Conducts new hire orientation.
  • Maintain Human Resources Information System (HRIS) records and conduct self-audit reports to help assure data integrity.
  • Compiles and maintains records for use in employee benefits administration.
  • Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses.
  • Oversees and supports training progression and maintains training records, database and prepares reports as requested.
  • Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.
  • Coordinate various employee relations events and/or initiatives in support of creating a great place to work.
  • Organizes meetings and takes minutes.
  • Various administration with office, training and ordering of office supplies.
  • Compiles data from personnel records and prepares reports.
  • Works closely with Monroe Human Resources for guidance and support.
  • Coordinates company initiative to improve culture and strive to be the best place to work.
  • Completes expense reports.
  • Prepares and coordinates employee communications.
  • Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment process and assist with on-going benefits administration.
  • Coordinate timely investigations into employee relations concerns, compile investigation summaries and report findings to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support shared services in the administration of payroll functions and partner with division leadership to ensure time keeping accuracy.
  • Participate and attend weekly HR Staff meetings and attend other meetings as required.
  • Partner with cross-functional and/or HR representatives on team projects.
  • Support Safety program.
  • Flex hours to provide support to off shifts in accordance with business needs.
Qualifications:
  • 1 year related work experience in Human Resources Department
  • Preference for manufacturing experience in Human Resources
  • Must have the ability to work well with others
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Knowledge of human resources and employment law
  • Must have excellent computer skills in HRIS system (Paycor preferred) and Microsoft Suite
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
