General Responsibilities:
Accountable for the Hiring, On-boarding, and Training of our team members in partnership with operations leads to develop our people and champion our culture of care.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Facilitation and tracking of the recruiting and hiring of our leaders and team members, including the creation of job descriptions, sourcing and screening of candidates using HR media and tools, scheduling and facilitation of interviews and tracking of candidates. Explores and implements new and improved recruiting channels. Provides a recruiting status at leadership meetings.
- Planning, facilitation and tracking of the on-boarding of all team members, including assembly of personnel documentation in line with legal, corporate, and restaurant requirements.
- Delivery of an orientation program to new hires to train on Chick-fil-A culture and hospitality best practices. Responsible for ensuring new hires understand our purpose and can connect it to the corporate culture. Acts as a champion to grow and protect the Chick-fil-A genuine hospitality culture in Westbury through our 'Serve Like A Champion' mission.
- Creation and tracking of a talent development and training program, considering Chick-fil-A best practices and input from Operations Leads. This includes enhancement of training content, directing a team of restaurant Trainers, and coordination and tracking of training status and our team's individual performance.
- Maintains the restaurant employee handbook and ensures team members are set up for success in always following our policies.
- Knowledge resource for local and federal labor laws that govern the hiring, training, and management of our people

Skills/Characteristics:

- Organized and methodical; diligent about tracking and follow-up
- Proficient with MS Office, including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- Entrepreneurial - “No task is too small” mentality and willing to jump in as needed
- Able to multi task and switch gears based upon whatever is needed for the development of the business and the team
- Self-directed and resourceful, particularly related to the field of HR
