Summary
Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our HousekeepingTeam as a Housekeeping Supervisor! The Housekeeping Supervisor will support “A Seattle Collection”, a multi-property cluster comprised of Grand Hyatt Seattle, Hyatt at Olive 8 and Hyatt Regency Seattle.
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for Supervisory duties in the Housekeeping department. . This includes inspecting guest rooms, counseling and interviewing employees, resolving guest complaints, general office duties, etc. Minimum of 1-year hotel experience and excellent communication skills, as well as basic computer skills. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Inspecting guest rooms in accordance with maintaining Hyatt’s Inspection Program
- Performing on the spot coaching
- Assisting staff in cleaning guest rooms, back of house and public areas as needed
- Interviewing potential housekeeping candidates
- Resolving guest complaints regarding room cleanliness
- Assigning daily tasks to room attendants
- Reporting injuries, near misses, and other incidents through Risk Console
- Special projects (i.e. managing inventory for linen, guest, cleaning, and operating supplies)
- Creating weekly preliminary staff schedule
- Assisting with payroll (i.e. inputting signed time edits, uploading schedule, i.e)
- General office duties
- Assisting in housekeeping projects

Qualifications
