Our client, a 100 bed hospital located in Northern NC, located about 1 hr from Raleigh and about 45 mins from Durham, is seeking a House Supervisor to join their team.

The House Nursing Supervisor coordinates the activities of the hospital on evening/night/weekend shifts to maintain 24-hour nursing administrative coverage. The Nursing Supervisor supervises and directs nursing personnel and monitors staffing and skill mix for appropriate staffing levels in the absence of the Nursing Director. Serves as a clinical resource for the nursing staff, assisting with problem solving in determining interventions as appropriate for the patient age and clinical situation. Serves as a resource for Charge Nurses.

Minimum Work Experience
Experience and expertise in management either in front line or shift supervisory work.

Recommend 2-3 years of recent experience a healthcare setting.

Minimum Education
Successful completion of the Nursing Diploma Program or an associate degree in Nursing from an accredited school is required.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Licenses: Registered Nurse License

Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of employment.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of employment.
