Reports To: Senior Director of Client Services
Location: Flexible between all Caring Network offices
Terms: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Department: Client Services
Requirements: Some light lifting required as well as the ability to adapt to evolving technology.
About the role: Are you an empathetic individual, looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need? When a woman is unexpectedly pregnant and reaches out for services, her first point of contact with Caring Network is our Helpline. Through a variety of lead types (telephone, text, online), our staff has the opportunity to connect with her, earning the right for us to serve her with caring life-affirming services. The helpline professional functions harmoniously with team members, contributing to smooth scheduling, record-keeping, and functioning across all centers. The ideal candidate will participate in Caring Network’s supportive culture, which we demonstrate through positive and professional interactions with our clients and one another. We will train the right individual for this position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Carries out essential Helpline administration and appointment scheduling duties.
- Interacts calmly, compassionately, and professionally with clients in stressful situations.
- Listens well and responds to callers’ unique situations.
- Believes in the benefits of the services offered and conveys with confidence what we do and do not provide.
- Requires the ability to compassionately, respectfully and professionally communicate our services and their benefits to potential clients
- Contributes to and is mindful of ministry goals and growth.
- Maintains confidentiality of clients and staff.
Candidate requirements:
- Christian: Professed believer in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord. Dependent on God.
- Fully agrees with the Caring Network Statement of Faith and Principle and policies of the center.
- Active church member who is dedicated to the pro-life position.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Exhibits genuine love and respect for the potential client facing an unexpected pregnancy, no matter the circumstances.
- Very strong computer skills and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Strongly experienced in administration and human services.
- Dependable, professional, organized, detail-oriented, flexible, harmonious, and teachable.
- Accepts feedback and constructive criticism and adjusts, as needed.
- Works as part of a team with a positive, humble, truthful, and gentle attitude.
- Spanish fluency a plus but not required.
