GRANTS PROJECT SPECIALIST DUTIES:
- The Grants Project Specialist is responsible for oversight and compliance to state and federal regulations and standards associated with Behavioral Health Clinic
- Ensure that all BHC program development plans and activities are executed in keeping with funding requirements and in keeping with BHDDH’s values, mission, vision, and strategy for the implementation of BHC
- Coordinate processes and internal resources regarding grants across multiple departments to ensure that BHC requirements are implemented, and outcomes met.
- Participates in providing collaboration and attending meetings with all those associated with implementation and on-going monitoring of BHC.
- Ensure that BHDDH leadership obtains grant information necessary to support the organization’s goals throughout implementation and monitoring of BHCs.
- Prepare grants status reports for the BH Associate Director of special projects and the Director of BHDDH for review.
- Evaluate BHC effectiveness; identify successful and unsuccessful BHC relationships and engage in proactive problem-solving to reduce barriers impacting the successful outcomes in coordination with organizational leaders.
- Responsible for grant monitoring and compliance of newly established BHCs throughout Rhode Island.
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE:
- Minimum of a master’s degree related to behavioral or public health with 5 years of experience.
- Within the 5 years of experience has worked with state agencies and behavioral health agencies
- Knowledge of behavioral health services and resources on a local, state and national level; Ability to guide the organization in meeting and exceeding standards.
