YOUR LIFE AS A HEALTH DATA ANALYST
As a Health Data Analyst, you play a key role in our ability to improve our services through data-based decision making. It's your job to help us access and interpret the figures that drive our progress. To this end, you develop and maintain reporting that allows us to easily retrieve and manipulate data on a variety of topics. One of your maintenance duties is to automate our deliverables so we can review them on a regular basis. You also work closely with the clinical team to develop a full understanding of the programs that are being measured. This understanding helps you research and investigate key problems that our business may run into. As a result of your quantitative analyses, you provide our management with conclusions and suggestions.
To ensure accurate data analysis, you perform audits of the infrastructure at regular intervals. Sometimes, requests for analyses come to your team. You coordinate those requests by making assignments, establishing timelines, and mentoring your team members. Using your excellent communication skills, you make sure that everyone involved in a project is kept up to date. In addition, you set the direction for your team by resolving problems and providing guidance. At all times, you make sure to document your systems and processes in a way that is accurate and easy to read. These duties and more make your day a busy one, but you wouldn't have it any other way. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in the healthcare field
- Proficiency with Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, and Visio
Experience managing a team that uses Team Foundation Server (TFS), SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Tableau, or Power BI in data projects is preferred.
