Gymnastics Coach Job at Elmwood Day Camp

Elmwood Day Camp is looking for a gymnastics coach to teach children ages 3-10 the fundamentals of gymnastics. Our recently updated gymnastics pavilion has a tumble track, balance beams, spring boards, uneven bars, and much more.
The gymnastics specialist position is a full-time commitment of 8 weeks – Monday through Friday from 8:20 – 4:10, plus 2-3 days of mandatory staff orientation.
The right candidate:
- Is a college student or college graduate
- Has previous experience working with kids
- Has background experience in gymnastics
Elmwood is a children’s day camp located in Westchester, NY, in a beautiful wooded residential section of White Plains, about 30 minutes outside NYC. As a part of the Elmwood team, staff members are sure to enjoy the challenges, triumphs, responsibilities, rewards and fun that make up each day. We believe that in the process of making Elmwood “a great place to be me” for each camper, our staff members find that they too are in “a great place to be me”. We have a high energy and friendly staff. We offer optional staff rec events in the evenings to allow staff to get to know each other after the camp day.
