Duties:
The Graphic Artist will:
- Works as part of an 8-person team to develop graphical arts products (graphs, charts, 2D/3D caricatures, animation) in support of interactive eLearning projects.
- Uses Adobe Suite applications to re-design existing graphical products and prepare them for inclusion in updated versions of eLearning courseware.
- Assists Instructional Designers, Developers, and a subject matter expert with decisions on the best integration of digital art products into eLearning courseware.
- Collaborates with other team members to solve problems.
- Uses project tracking software to track, report, and manage assigned tasks to ensure all tasks are completed on or before the established due date.
- Exhibits ability to make informed, accurate estimates of the projected level of effort (time) to complete graphic development tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a graphic artist (the candidate is expected to show and talk about products created exclusively by the candidate)
- Expert in the use of industry apps used in the graphical arts -- Photoshop, Illustrator, and all related Adobe Suite graphic applications.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to work with courseware authoring such as Rise, Storyline, or Captivate.
Education:
- BA or Certificate Program desired, not required
- Portfolio/work samples
