As a Communication Developer Services (CDS) Go-To-Market Specialist, you will help drive the growth of Amazon SES. Amazon SES is a cloud-based email service used to reach customers, patients and citizens across the globe to improve marketing outreach. You will meet with marketing technologists, chief digital officers and technologists who determine how email marketing is used in their enterprise.
In this role, you will establish Amazon SES as a primary customer engagement channel for enterprise, partner and ISV customers. You will work frequently with Amazon sales, business development, marketing and product management to accelerate the sales cycle by driving adoption and revenue through sales enablement programs. You will drive awareness and scale by launching sales programs and solving problems, making it easier for Amazon sellers to sell Amazon SES.

Work effectively with Sales, BD, Product Marketing and Product Management to solve complex problems
Audit Amazon SES deals in Salesforce CRM for accuracy
Prepare Monthly 2x2s to track key business goals
About the team
The Communication Developer Services team is responsible for building the go-to-market plans that build internal awareness, accelerate customer adoption and grow revenue for Amazon SES, Pinpoint, Chime SDK and related Solutions.
Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $73,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - A product marketing or sales background in marketing automation, direct to consumer engagement or email marketing
- Experience selling cloud solutions
- History of working for, or selling to tech startups

- A “sales” mentality without owning a sales quota
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable delivering results amid ambiguity and change
