We are looking for Driller Helpers to perform activities in support of the drilling crew. This important role will be based out of our office in New Cumberland, PA. The position is physically demanding. You will need to be able to lift 70+ pounds on a regular basis, enjoy traveling and working outdoors.
Schedule:
Day shift, Monday through Friday, some night shifts required, Overtime eligible, Frequent travel and overnight stays
Salary Range:
$19.00 hourly to start.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Geotechnical Driller with soil borings, well installation, soil sampling, rock coring, and visual soil classification.
- Drive medium duty trucks to various job sites as directed by supervisor.
- Haul supplies to and from the drill site.
- Mix drilling fluids.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisors and prepares documentation.
- Perform physical labor, shoveling, drilling debris, and transporting materials using ergonomically correct lifting techniques.
- Maintain all applicable certifications.
- Maintenance/organization of vehicle tracking paperwork and/or digital files.
- Use appropriate public relations when dealing with co-workers, clients, observers, and the public.
- Be dependable / consistent with attendance and follow Company policies and protocols.
